More then anything else
Lexi Q (LA 3-4)

It all started of when I was 6 and I went to “bring your child to work day!”
I when with my next-door neighbor. My neighbor works at the vet and he takes care of the dogs. All day we would learn about the animals, play with them and watched what people did when they are at work. When it was time to go I was so sad but I was thinking how cool it would be to be a vet.

I woke up the next morning with the sun looming on my face. I went down stairs and I could smell the yummy breakfast. I sat down at the table and I said to my mom “more than anything else I want to be a vet when I am older.” And I told my mom about yesterday.

Ever since that day I have been thinking about being a vet…. 5 year latter

MOM I yelled. She gets so mad when I yell so I ask her in a calm sweet voice “ can we please get a pet because when I am older I want to be a vet and I have NEVER had a animal in my life.” She said “maybe.” I was so happy to here her say maybe in the 11 years I have been alive!!!

The next day I went to school. I was telling all of my friends that I might get a dog. So when the bell rang to go to are first class witch it math I walked with my friends and then we took a seat. Are that we went to are normal classes. When school ended I walked home with my friends. I opened the door to my house and a little puppy ran up to me with a pink bow on her head. I named her Abby.

I ran to my mom and gave her a huge hug and I said, “Thank you sooooo much.”
She said this puppy would help you earn up to your vet job when you are older.

I told her “when I am in collage I am going to be I a good school to help me be a vet.” My mom thought that would be a very good job for me.
